Sheikh Belal Assaad holds a Degree in Shari’ah and Da’wah from the ‘Ad-Da’Wah Wal-Irshad University Institute’, Tripoli, Lebanon 1995. He continued his studies in Biomedical Science at Victoria University (VU), followed by a postgraduate degree in Teaching Science and Student Welfare & Well-being’ also from Victoria University (VU). He also competed a second postgraduate degree in Migration Law and Practice from the Australian National University (ANU). Sheikh Belal is a registered Minister of Religion (title: Imam) and Marriage Celebrant with the Australian Federation of Islamic Council and the Australian Governor General’s Office. He is currently employed at the Australian International Academy as the Head of Religious Studies and Curriculum, and in Student Counselling and teaching for over 16 years. He has been in the field of Da’wah delivering regular khutbas and a public speaker locally and abroad for the past 26 years. He is internationally known and is invited to guest speak and lecture regularly through various organisations internationally and nationally as much as his time permits. Sheikh Belal was born in Melbourne Australia, and currently resides there.

Welcome to the NNSW Prayer Conference 2023 podcast channel, where we bring you powerful messages, uplifting worship, and sweet fellowship from this incredible event. The theme for this year's conference is "Lift Him Up," taken from John 12:32, where Jesus said that if He were lifted up from the earth, He would draw all people to Himself. During this weekend in the Word and united prayer, we sought to lift Jesus up higher and draw nearer to Him. Our special guest, Pastor Pavel Goia, editor of Ministry Magazine and associate ministerial secretary, delivered powerful sermons that inspired us to deepen our personal relationship with Jesus. In addition to Pastor Pavel's sermons, we also had a Sabbath School program with Pastor Nicu Dumbrava, the AUC Personal Ministries director. Throughout the conference, we heard moving testimonies from participants who shared how the conference impacted their lives and brought them closer to Jesus.
