My late father of blessed memory, Chacham Baruch Ben Haim , was very famous for using stories & parables in his teachings. He would often quote the Maggid Midubna in his famous parables on the weekly Parasha. It is well known that Rav Nachman of Breslov the Ben Ish Chai would relate their teachings through stories. In the last 4 decades, I have followed this tradition in my Torah deliveries.
