On l’appelle « l’homme providentiel », ou encore l’homme du 18 juin. Mais avant de devenir le Grand Charles, il fut à peu près… personne. En 5 années, de 1940 à 1945, le mythe De Gaulle s’est forgé à coups d’appels à la radio et d’audacieux coups militaires. Voici comment Charles est devenu le Grand De Gaulle. Luck Be A Soldier
Major General Alli Kiiza is the luckiest of soldiers. As a member of the Uganda Airforce since 1966, he has been at first hand for it all. From violent changes of government in the 1970s to the famous tactical hostage rescue, Operation Thunderbolt, by Israeli commandos at Entebbe Airport. Many of these events could have ended his life but did not. In this podcast, he will relay some of these stories and you can decide for yourself: can luck be a soldier?
